Merchandising Business systems is a core group within Retail Information Systems of 7-Eleven and supports all 5-fundamentals directly or indirectly with the most impact on assortment, value and service. Through RIS systems, we enable POS scanning, ordering, invoicing and deliveries to the stores. We provide essential information for item by item management and accurate cost and retail in support of offering customers best value. The Associate is responsible for the accuracy of data applied to all assigned ancillary systems.
Proactively manage assigned tasks/workflow on a daily basis with minimal supervision. Analyze, research, and resolve problems related to new items or changes submitted for existing items utilizing all supporting systems. Demonstrate expert-level knowledge on all ancillary systems and the impact of incorrect maintenance on interdependent systems and processes. Effectively communicate with merchandising regarding data elements, set-up, and data entry procedures, time-lines, etc. Proof all work processed to ensure 100% accuracy. Provide general administrative support. Perform other responsibilities as required by management.
