Essentially, you build your platform with verticals that extend out to various networks that lead to productive relationships with the digital communities to further enhance 7-Eleven’s digital presence in market place.

 

You will play an essential role in finding and attracting extraordinary talent. You will be responsible for the full hiring life cycle which includes turning profile requirements into effective sourcing strategies, using an appropriate combination of direct sourcing and referrals, and attracting and developing candidate interest. You’ll then work hand in hand with candidates and internal clients guiding them through our hiring process. As a subject matter expert, you will develop and share best practices and work with Chief Digital Officer other recruiters to coordinate ongoing activities and events.

Responsibilities

  • Implement staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool. Ensure hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally. Interface to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.
  • Manage candidate process and act as a candidate advocate. Evaluate skill level, manage offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, offer letter generation and offer acceptance/declines. Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager, senior management, and other groups as necessary.
  • Responsible for sourcing candidates through Boolean search, social media, networking and other tools.
  • Attend local networking events and digital meet ups to become embedded in the community.
  • Passion for improving the customer experience with customers broadly defined as candidates, new hires, and hiring managers.
  • Compile and update reports for job openings, hires and post-hire summaries for hiring managers.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 3-5 years in the digital recruiting space highly preferred

  • Strong passion in the digital world, keen to follow industry trends
  • Experience working in a fast-paced recruiting environment with the ability to take initiative with little direction
  • Experience working with an ATS in a high volume and detail oriented environment
  • High level of entrepreneurship and creativity
  • Build an external pipeline of digital content talent
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work in an environment with competing demands.
  • Ideal candidate would possess high energy, be highly motivated and self- directed.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization’s reputation and success.
