Risk Analyst - Corporate Insurance

To administer the risk finance aspects of the Corporate Insurance department, including the Risk Management Information System (RMIS), reporting, trending analytics, budget, SOX compliance, accounting coorination, insurance renewals and administration.




Manage Risk Management Information

  • Manage RMIS Service relationships and system enhancements
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly internal report delivery
  • Perform trending, analysis and benchmarking for projects
  • Maintain monthly predictive analytics
  • Manage monthly TPA data load timing and accuracy into RMIS system
  • Coordinate accuracy of intake system incidents to TPA system
  • Prepare loss and exposure data quarterly for Actuary and annually for risk/industry benchmarking
  • Manage technical projects as needed
  • Ensure operational realignments are updated in TPA and RMIS systems

Risk Finance & Accounting

  • Invoice Posting
  • Claim Payment Reconciliation
  • Monthly Reserve Account reconciliation 
  • Monthly reserve account & expense to budget analysis
  • Reconcile Quarterly Actuarial results to Ledger balance
  • Other coordination as necessary

Insurance / Coverage Coordination

  • Gather exposure data for renewals and reporting
  • Premium Audit data collection and review
  • Coordinate Renewal application completion with other departments
  • Coordinate Monopolistic State Renewals
  • Respond to data requests and inquiries from external auditors
  • Support other insurance administration, surety bonds, certificates, auto id cards, as necessary


  • Produce periodic risk metric communications
  • Power Point Presentations (putting info together in PPT format)
  • Manage/Update Risk Intranet

Additional coordination in other Risk Management Areas

  • Support Property Claims Administration
  • Support Environmental Claim Reporting and Administration
  • SOX Compliance Coordination and Response





  • Education: Bachelors/ 4 Yr Degree
  • Experience: 5 Years, RMIS, Accounting, Report Writing, Exposure Gathering for Renewals, Surety and Certification Coordination.
  • Must have a high degree of technical aptitude for analytical trending reports and high level of detail orientation to manage ledger entries and recon.
  • Prior experience in anaytics, managing Information Systems (RMIS Preferred), and producing meaningful trending reports that impact ROI and program development.
  • Expert level skills in excel, power point and word
  • Prior experience in accounting coordination, systems (Oracle preferred), generating and balancing ledger accounts
  • Prior experience coordinating renewal applications, including gathering exposures and filling out applications preferred.
  • Prior experience administering Surety Bonds and inbound and outbound Certificates of Insurance preferred.
