Overview

Responsible for the resolution of certain issues for owned and leased real estate, facilitate processing of contracts and other documents, and an internal resource for property information.  This candidate must possess an expert level of organization, customer service, work ethic, and interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Transaction Specialist role in flow through and process of related real estate documentation (contracts) included but not limited to renewals, sales, divestitures, purchases, etc.
  • Support Property Specialist role in flow through and process of property management issues including but not limited to legal notices, outgoing letters and correspondence, incoming mail, minor issue assignment, response, and resolution.
  • Support Existing Store Paralegals role in flow through and process of any / all documents related to real estate and real estate related transactions. This includes but is not limited to new locations, renewals, purchase contracts, divestitures and/or dispositions, etc.  This role will also be responsible for database input and upkeep related to real estate information within our proprietary real estate management system.
  • Support Data Analytics role in flow through and process of related real estate documentation (contracts) included but not limited to renewals, sales, divestitures, purchases, etc.
  • Coordinate with the landlord community to resolve simple to moderately complex property issues (ex: required maintenance, information requests, updating contact information, etc.).
  • Maintain databases in support of Asset Optimization specific to real estate and real estate related information. This includes but is not limited to owned, leased, rental, office, etc.)
  • Support the management of office / excess space & surplus properties
  • Support the management of rental unit properties (rent, utility payments, etc.)
  • Support the store closure process as needed.
  • Support the business process and information gathering process for Estoppel certificates and any information gather required to complete SNDA’s.
  • In support of Asset Optimization, this position will be responsible for
    • Receiving, opening, logging, and distribution of incoming mail
    • Receiving, processing, logging, and distribution of outgoing mail
    • Receiving phone calls for the Real Estate Department
    • Supporting the web-contact / email contact for real estate
    • Processing and logging landlord contact information via the PDSS database
    • Processing, logging, and distribution of all outgoing contracts
    • Assist and support customers regarding property dealings

Qualifications

  • Education: High School/GED 

  • Experience: 5 years, office experience, real estate, property management, customer service.

  • Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Expert Level Customer Service Skills.

  • Expert Level Organizational Skills.
