    The SSC-based Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

     

    In this full-cycle recruiting role, you will play a critical part to ensure the placement of high-performing talent through internal as well as external hiring throughout the company. In partnership with hiring managers and HR Business partners, you will partake in the planning of the evolving needs of the business and introduce recruiting plans that will deliver the best talent to the organization.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

     

    Develop and Execute Recruiting Plans

    • Work with hiring managers and HRBP on recruiting plans.

    • Create, interpret or edit job descriptions.

    • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

    • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

    • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

    • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

    • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

    • Utilize the Internet for recruitment.

      • Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.
      • Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting.
      • Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
      • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
      • Use job board aggregators. Determine classified sites to use for targeted roles: Geebo, Craigslist, eBay classifieds, SimplyHired, indeed, guru, etc.
      • Talent pipeline building: track record in identifying potential star candidates for future positions.

     

    Network through Industry Contacts, Association Memberships, Trade Groups and Employees

    • Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.
    • Aid public relations, communications and marketing in establishing a recognizable employment brand (reputation) for the company, both internally and externally.
    • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
    • Generate contacts within the industry.
    • Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
    • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.

     

    Coordinate and Implement College Recruiting Initiatives

    • Coordinate college recruiting initiatives.
    • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
    • Develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.
    • Key presenter at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.

     

    Administrative Duties and Record Keeping

    • Manage the use of external recruiters and headhunters.
    • Screen resumes for position requirement alignment.
    • Conduct candidate interviews to evaluate depth of experience and next step in process.
    • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the appropriate systems.
    • Initiate reference and background checks for potential employees.
    • Key contributor in final candidate selection decisions.
    • Prepare offers, extend offers, work through negotiations and send offer packages.
    • Partake in special projects as assigned.
    • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity

    Qualifications

     

     

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Bachelors/4 Year Degree
    • 5 plus years’ prior recruiting sourcing experience
    • Demonstrated ability to build and align strong teams to achieve exceptional results.
    • Established ability to lead and influence diverse constituencies and stakeholders.
    • Prior experience in recruiting corporate positions a plus.
    • Successful track record in candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
    • Build productive partnerships with all lines of business partners and foster teamwork.
    • Gather and analyze information skillfully.
    • Experience with Applicant tracking Systems data management and integrity within tracking system
    • In depth knowledge of data mining and internet research
    • Actively participate in in staffing related activities and engage in cross-functional projects
