  • Overview

    Responsible for all activities, including obtaining the required licenses, socking and shelf sequencing, related to new store openings, Franchise Change-overs and AQIO remodels. Manage multiple teams of store ready specialist to prepare store for retail operations at the conclusion of construction or remodeling activity. 


    • Plan, schedule and direct all supporting activities required for change over to operations at new stores, acquisitions and franchise changeovers. 
    • Communicate with all levels of operations, staff and the SSC. 
    • Work closely with DPM and 3rd party resources to develop and execute store readiness efforts. 
    • Manage all personnel activities including process, procedure, training and administration. 
    • Responsible for field merchandising decisions including product assortment, product placement, footprints and schematics that support current merchandising plans, requests and division initiatives.
    • Define the store readiness ordering functions including small wares, office supplies, initial product assortment and POP.
    • Develop AQIP scope of work, including store equipment replacement and placement. 
    • Responsible for all project phases (initiative, plan, execute, monitor/control, close). 
    • Direct all activities of outside project management firms including construction, equipment replacement and disposal, and POP.
    • Work closely with outsourced project management firms, contractors and vendors. 
    • Manage scheduling and communication to all levels of Operations, Staff and the SSC. 


    • Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree, PMP preferred.
    • Experience: 6-8 years in a merchandising and operations environment. 
    • Possess strong Project Management and organization skills.
    • Able to analyze, use and explain specific, logical, and detailed, complicated processes.
    • Requires excellent written and verbal skills that clearly communicate Servant Leadership attributes.
    • Working knowledge of store procedures and applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Forum).
    • Thorough knowledge of Store Operations including financial management, merchandising, store reports, human resources, etc.
    • 50% travel
