  • Overview


    Lead and facilitate communications with other functional leaders around key projects within Merch/Ops Services. Provide insights/perspectivefrom Merchandising and Operations.





    • Provide reporting, verification, & analytical insights that in turn improve sales and profitability.
    • Reflect the acknowledgements from the analysis to the weekly Merch/OPS EC update and provide EC members useful information upon making decisions.
    • Collect information and data through desktop analysis of internal data and external statistics/ surveys and convert the data into a format which will potentially be shared throughout the organization.
    • Design solutions for the stores regarding in-store verification through customer and sales associates' interview or behaviour observation Support transferring ideas/knowledge that are developed within the Merch/OPS department to other related departments. This will include participation of meetings as requested by the manager, and presenting thoughts on behalf of the manager to create consensus with other departments.
    • Provide regular updates to Merch/Ops EVP about not only SEI's business, but also about macro economy and U.S. business environment in general.





    • Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

    • Experience: 5+ years, Business Analysis and/or Business Consulting.

    • Expert knowledge of Excel and other data management/analysis technologies.

    • Excel 2013 knowledge preferred.

    • Ability to communicate/translate complicated data analysis insights into actions.

    • Should consistently deliver quality outputs in a high paced and dynamic environment, with an ability to work to tight deadlines.

    • Ability to write reports and/or business correspondence in a clear concise manner, including technical documentation when needed.
