  • Overview

    The scrum master serves the team to turn user stories and epics into working software. Responsibilities of the Scrum Master as servant-leader are as follows:


    • Ensure that the Apps team gets the development / technical support necessary for the success of the team and the organization.
    • Enable team members for success via the application of scrum/agile methodologies and improve the efficiency of support and development teams
    • Understand the priorities and interdependencies of past, current and future work to ensure optimal outcomes
    • Act as the business analyst and point-of-contact to ensure a smooth transition from idea submission through scoping, design, delivery and project closeout
    • Certified Scrum master preferred with experience managing large projects with geographically distributed teams
    • Should have a good understanding of the Scrum ceremonies and experience in Agile tools
    • Should be able to generate quantitative reports using the Scrum management tools to help take informed decisions
    • Should have a good understanding of enterprise grade ecommerce/Web application
    • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate and work with distributed teams and work with various internal stakeholders
    • Project management experience preferred with ability to manage risks effectively on both development and maintenance projects
    • Experience to translate business requirements to user stories
    • Experience creating executive reporting and status updates
    • Background in application/software development & exposure to SDLC
    • Hands-on experience on JIRA confluence Slack and other Agile /collaboration tools
    • Reporting and Communication




    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Certified Scrum Master Certification

    • 5+ years working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivery of software.

    • Experience with scrum methodology and agile techniques such as user stories, ATDD, TDD, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, agile games.
    • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.
