    The Senior Analyst, Cost Support position in the MBS department is responsible for the internal post audit recovery process and plays a key role in supporting cross-functional projects that impact the MBS Cost Support team.  The position also assists in ensuring the accurate and timely setup of all billbacks, scanbacks, promotions, coupons and allowances.



    1. Executes the internal post audit recovery process, wherein SEI identifies cost support opportunities that have not been previously identified. Works with partners in Merchandising, Category Support and/or vendors to obtain alignment on identified recovery opportunities and drive them to successful resolution.

    2. Plays a key role in supporting cross-functional projects, such as the ongoing Item Master Improvements project, among others. Provides thought leadership in adding value to projects, ensuring that the solution selected best meets the needs of the company both today and beyond.  Represents self and department confidently and professionally when working cross-functionally.  Inspires teamwork and collaboration, actively working to remove obstacles and barriers.

    3. Ensures the accurate and timely preparation, processing and verification of billbacks, scanbacks, promotions, PLU setup, coupons and allowances in accordance with departmental and SOX guidelines. Provides back-up to Cost Support Manager and helps prioritize workload of team, when necessary.

    4. Exhibits a keen ability to multi-task as priorities change and/or new initiatives emerge that require immediate attention. Has a sense of urgency in supporting 7-Eleven stores and operators and understands that the work completed by the MBS Cost Support team has a direct financial impact on franchisees.


    1. Works directly with Cost Support Manager to ensure issues such as obstacles and cross-functional barriers requiring resolution, unresolved issues, and outstanding issues that affect the quality of the Cost Support team performance are addressed.

    2. Assists with administrative responsibilities of team, including participating in hiring decisions, and helps to train and onboard new team members. Ensures timely team communication and feedback to Category Support and Promo teams in reference to deadlines and exceptions.

    3. Performs other special projects, duties and responsibilities as requested by management.


    Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree. Experience:

    3-5 years professional experience.  Retail industry experience highly preferred.  Working knowledge of SEI’s merchandising and accounting information systems highly preferred.  Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
