  • Overview

    This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on a regularly scheduled, rotating basis on assigned equipment in an assigned group of 7-Eleven/Stripes stores within a geographic area. Position reports to the Area Facilities Manager.


    This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Complete prescribed preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.   Some examples (not all inclusive) of this equipment include HVAC, refrigeration, FBDs, fountain and ice machines, coffee brewers, tea brewers, backroom ice maker, FReal machines, Aqua Fresca machines, and water filtration system.
    • Ensure company-provided vehicle is continuously stocked with needed parts / tools for completing work.   Responsible to ensure vehicle is properly maintained.
    • Complete accurate work order reporting on a timely basis with SMS and SourceNA.
    • Communicate with all team members to ensure that technician’s work assists store employees in being “customer obsessed” to provide customer satisfaction.



    • Strong communication skills, able to interact with store staff and customers
    • Valid driver’s license and good driving record; responsible to drive company vehicle
    • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
    • Basic computer knowledge.
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical, facilities, or construction trade, or trade school equivalent.


    • Technology diploma or equivalent.
    • Certifications or licenses (OSHA, HAZMAT, electrical, mechanical etc.)
    Physical Requirements:
    • Will require extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, etc.
    • Will require ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs, as needed
    • May require ability to work flexible hours (shifts). May occasionally require flexibility for “on-call” or as needed for emergency situations
